A career within the Capital Markets Accounting Advisory and Structuring team, will provide you with the opportunity to become a Manager in Treasury team advising our clients in complex market risk, capital and liquidity risk management areas including strategy, controls, accounting, systems, reporting, regulatory compliance, functional design or others.

You'll tackle client's needs with a solution oriented approach and you'll have significant interaction with senior company management teams, bankers, lawyers and other advisors.

In this role, you’ll be part of a team of Treasury specialists who will assist you to deliver the work to our clients. You’ll be responsible for your delivery team, for their further development and overall performance.

About the position

Being member of our team, you will work mainly on following projects:
- Advice clients on their market risk management projects, mainly around currency risk, interest rate risk, commodity risk, capital and liquidity risk
- Advice and support our clients with implementation of hedge accounting
- Valuation of derivatives and other financial instruments
- Support our clients with set up of their treasury function and implementation of treasury management systems (knowledge and implementation experience of Kyriba, Trinity or other TMS is an advantage)
- Work on the above listed projects with PwC offices in other territories (UK, Netherlands, Hungary, etc)
- Provide accounting advice on complex treasury areas
- Work alongside our audit teams on audit of treasury functions in the leading Czech banks and large Czech corporates.
- Manage a team of 5-10 treasury specialists, have a responsibility for the Treasury team performance

Our requirements

- Master’s Degree (preferably mathematics/statistics/finance)
. Post gradual education or certificate, relevant to treasury areas (ACCA accepted as well)
- 5-8 years of practical experience in the area of auditing, financial instruments and/or hedge accounting, treasury and risk management; Big4 background is a strong advantage
- Knowledge of financial instruments under IFRS and Czech GAAP
- Knowledge of some of the well known TMS, experience with its implementation is a strong advantage
- Fluent in Czech and English is a must (written and spoken) at a professional level, German is a strong advantage
- Consultative nature, strong analytical and problem solving skills, and decision making skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn quickly, be self-motivated, demonstrate initiative, and adapt in a dynamic environment
- Willingness to learn and travel
